Thomas L. Francis, DMin, BCCC/PC
Founding President & CEO
Dr. Francis is the founding President/CEO of the Pastoral Care Institute of Atlanta, Georgia. He presently serves as a Hospice Chaplain in the Atlanta, GA area and has served for over 26 years. In addition, he served as one of the early launched adjunct professors at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH. He organized the Pastoral Care Department at Carver University in Atlanta, GA. He is proud to have integrated public schools in Greenville, SC, where he grew up. He is a published author. He is a grief counselor and conference creator for the Pastoral Care Institute of Atlanta.

Addiction Counselor & Youth Mentor
Chaplain Kemp brings decades of pastoral and clinical experience to PCIA. As a United Methodist pastor for 20 years in the North Georgia Conference, he has dedicated his ministry to serving high-risk youth, families, and those struggling with addiction and trauma.

Rev. Dr. Denise Currie-Lowe
Board Certified Chaplain
Rev. Dr. Currie-Lowe is a Board Certified Chaplain with over twenty years of experience in hospice care. She provides spiritual services to hospice patients and families, serves as a Community Liaison and Resource for Community Spiritual Leaders, and is a dedicated facilitator for the Grief Share Program.

Ted Kirk, LSW
Licensed Social Worker (Retired)
Ted Kirk is a retired Licensed Social Worker and member of Fayette Factor who brings extensive clinical experience to PCIA. Throughout his career he assessed clients, provided crisis intervention, and helped individuals, groups, and families prevent and cope with problems in their everyday lives.

Ms. Linda Pickens
Administrative Assistant
Ms. Pickens is a Certified Grant Writer and Nonprofit Researcher with over 25 years of experience. She holds an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Greenville Technical College and has studied Leadership and Biblical Studies at Beulah Heights University in Atlanta, GA.
